Introduction to Northbrook College
- Northbrook College Sussex is a centre for Further, Higher and Adult Education.
- The College is one of the largest educational establishments in Sussex, with approximately 1000 staff and 16000 full and part time students.
- Northbrook has two campuses in Worthing and a campus at Shoreham Airport.
- The College offers a wide range of full and part time courses from Basic Skills to Degrees. Qualifications include trade and professional qualifications as well as pre-university diplomas and university degrees.
- Northbrook was founded in 1986 when Worthing College of Technology merged with two other colleges: the West Sussex College of Art and Design (est. 1912) and Chelsea College of Aeronautical Engineering (est. 1924).
- The College has extensive well-equipped studios and workshops for design, craft and engineering courses. Other facilities include a professional theatre on campus, film studios, a working restaurant, a hair & beauty salon, an aircraft hangar and state-of-the-art recording studios.
