About this Course

This course is ideal for the complete beginner who would like to know more about Modern Art. It is also suitable for the student with some knowledge of the period who would like to know more.

 

Course Content

We shall be looking at Art from 1900 to 1950. Artists will include Matisse, Picasso, Boccioni, Mondrian, Kandinsky, Klee, Kokoschka, Henry Moore and Francis Bacon.

What you will achieve

By the end of the course you will be able to state who were the most important artists of the early 20th century and why they were so significant.

Progression/Career Path

You will be able to go onto further Art History courses like the ‘Late 20th Century told through its Artists’ proposed for 2018-19.

Other Costs

All you will need is a notebook and pen.
