Already employed in the catering industry, or for people looking for a change in career, having a basic knowledge of cooking.
You will be fully supported by our chef lecturer throughout the year.
Applicants will be invited to interview where you can discuss your present skills and be recommended the course most suitable for you.
Funding & Financial Support
- Age 19-23 - If you are age 19-23 at the start of the course, you do not have to pay fees on condition you do not already have a full qualification at Level 2 or above and you have fewer than 5 GCSEs at grade C or above. Your eligibility for this funding is normally assessed at time of enrolment.
- Receiving state benefits – You may not have to pay fees at any age if you are in receipt of certain state benefits (evidence required). For details, please contact our Payment Liaison office on 01903 273140.
- Income under £30,000 - If your household income is below £30,000 per year, you can contact our Financial Services office about applying for help with your expenses during your course (travel, books, childcare etc). See our Financial Support page.
