About this Course

Start dates - Sept, Jan and April. This course is offered on a 1:1 basis.


The College is pleased to confirm that we will continue to offer the series of TAQA qualifications. The courses are delivered at Level 3 – Qualification for Assessment, available at either an Award or Certificate level. The main focus for this level is based on assessment of competence and comprises of a mandatory unit and optional units. Level 4 – Qualification for Quality Assurance, again available at either an Award or Certificate level. The main focus for this level is based on quality assurance of other’s assessment decisions and also comprises of a mandatory unit and selection of optional units.


Learning comprises of mandatory input session/open learning/tutorials and observations.

 

Entry Requirements

For the mandatory units you will not need candidates to base the work on. For the optional units for both Levels 3 & 4 you will need to be occupationally competent in the sector that you will assess in and have two candidates/assessors to base the practical application on.
