About this Course

This course is for those students who have completed the L2 practical skills course and wish to continue their studies in counselling theory.

 

Entry Requirements

Students must be at least 19 years of age and must also have completed and passed a Level 2 course of at least 75 guided learning hours which is equivalent to the CSK - L2 Counselling Skills course.

Funding & Financial Support

Advanced Learner Finance

  • You can apply to the Government for an Advanced Learner Loan, whereby the Government will pay most of your fee and if your future salary is over £21,000 a year, you will start to repay it gradually. Note that the loan may not cover the whole fee. See our Advanced Learner Loan page


Income under £40,000

  • If your household income is below £40,000 per year, you can contact our Financial Services office about applying for help with your expenses during your course (travel, books, childcare etc). See our Financial Support page.

Other Costs

There may also be a CPCAB registration fee.
