You will train in the College’s salons which are open to the public and you will be continually assessed. The course will also include work experience which may need to be undertaken outside of your timetabled hours. You will therefore need to be prepared to take
opportunities where they arise and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.Much of the learning process will be student centred and will require commitment, dedication and the ability to conduct independent research.

English and Maths are part of the core programme of study. Students who have not achieved grade A*-C/9-4 in English and Maths will be required to study the appropriate level as part of their main qualification. More information

After 1 year at Level 2 you can achieve a Level 2 Diploma in Hair and Media Make-up. This means that you can progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Hair and Media Make-up
