Offering a natural progression from HND and Foundation Degree, this Honours Degree programme aims to develop production skills and technical knowledge with a programme of highly creative assessment opportunities, up to date delivery and extended studio access for personal projects.

Students studying in this area at Northbrook have gone on to work as: Music Producers, Artist/Performers, Freelance Composers, Sound Engineers, Music Publishers, Touring Musicians or Technical Staff, as well as in TV/Film, Radio, Web based Audio and Music/Audio for Games.

Individual offers may vary.


Students are invited to visit and should possess:


  • FdA/HND, with an overall merit profile, in a relevant subject (or an equivalent overseas qualification together with a proven ability in spoken and written English at IELTS 6 overall)

  • Good reference or college report

  • Portfolio of original music production work


Alternative qualifications and industrial experience would be conside red and discussed at interview.


It is strongly advised that all Higher Education applicants will have successfully achieved an A*- C grade in both GCSE Mathematics and English (or equivalent qualification), to enable them to successfully complete their studies at Northbrook College and enhance their future career prospects.
