Freshers Have Fun At The Fair

students in the marquee N orthbrook welcomed hordes of new students to the College by hosting its annual Freshers’ Fair at the West Durrington campus last week.

Students gathered freebies and browsed through the 30 stalls that packed out the marquee. Exhibitors included The Royal Airforce, The Information Shop, Worthing Leisure Centre & Aquarena and Panini Kitchen.

The College’s own stands were also a big hit. Students on the Theatre Make-up & Hair course performed some artistic face painting on willing participants and Catering students dished out tasty burgers and sausages.

Live music kicked off in the Theatre in the afternoon and continued late into the evening. The line-up included bands and DJs from the College.

The annual Freshers’ Fair welcomes new students to college life and this was the biggest and most successful fair so far. Paul Norman, Head of Curriculum Services, said, “We are really pleased with how well the event went and how much support we received from local companies. Freshers’ Fair is a great opportunity for our new students to settle into the College.”
