Course structure

The courses consist of 10 units delivered over 2 years.
Initially students start with a general introduction to all areas of production and event planning. Then in the spring term they follow their chosen Foundation degree and apply skills practically on productions. The first year will see students take supportive roles on shows and work on approximately 10-15 productions both in the Northbrook Theatre and Brighton venues. Progressing to the 2nd year students will then take senior production & event positions. This means that they will lead a team and facilitate the requirements of assorted events and shows, working within their own specialised degree area and also alongside those students on other production and performance degrees.
