8 steps to Northbrook

Follow the steps below to make sure you get all the information you need and to ensure that your application and interview go smoothly. Once you've accepted a College place, we will keep you informed of progress and invite you to attend an induction and enrolment session during the summer or just before your course starts.

Step 1: Finding Out More

Request a prospectus by phoning 0845 155 60 60 or filling in the online form or download a copy here
Browse the available courses here
Come to one of our Open Evenings - click here for dates
Contact the Admissions Office on 0845 155 60 60
Talk to your local Careers Adviser

Then, choose the course or courses you are interested in studying and check the entry requirements.

Step 2: Your Application

You can apply online using the link at the top of your course description page on this website.

Alternatively, you can tear out the application form in the back of the printed prospectus.

Or you can print off an application form from this website (there is a link at the top of this page).

You can also get an application form from your school or direct from Northbrook by phoning 0845 155 60 60.

Complete the application form and send it to:
Northbrook College Sussex
FREEPOST 975
Littlehampton Road
Worthing
BN12 6NU

We will normally contact you a few days after we receive your application form. You will receive an acknowledgement letter, which will be followed up at the appropriate time with an invitation to attend an interview.

Step 3: Reference

Ask your current or last school to provide a reference using the reference form. The reference form is available to tear out from the back of the printed prospectus. Alternatively, you can print it from this website (see link at top of this page).

Step 4: Your Interview

We always like to stress that an interview is not a test and does not put you under any obligation to accept a place. Even if you are considering other colleges or staying on at your school, we would still like to see you. On the day of the interview, you should report to Reception at the correct campus where you will be met by the course tutor or an Admissions Officer. At the interview we will give you more information about the course and you will have the chance to ask questions about this and also general College activities and facilities.

Step 5: Your Offer of a Place

If we can offer you a place this will be confirmed either at the time of the interview or in writing by post.

Step 6: Your Choice

It is your choice. You should look at your interview as a visit and opportunity to find out more about Northbrook College Sussex and if it is right for you.

Step 7: Accepting Your Place

Send back the acceptance slip to our Freepost address and we will contact you to advise the date and time of your enrolment session.

Step 8: Induction and Enrolment

We will, at the appropriate time, send you information regarding the start date of your course - together with details of your course induction session with your fellow students and new tutors.
