Specialist Areas of Delivery:
After graduating from Sussex University in 1991, Julian was a performing musician and writer in the bands ‘Earwig’ and ‘Insides’, releasing five albums in total including two with acclaimed UK label 4AD.
He set up his own recording studio in Brighton in 1996 where he continues to work for half the week, producing bands and songwriters, and voiceovers for media and videos. Since 2010 Julian has widened his skills into video production and makes a wide range of music related video for labels such as 4AD, Rough Trade, Fat Cat and Full Time Hobby. He was worked part time for Northbrook College since 1998.

He was worked with Mercury prize 2015 nominee C.Duncan, Honeyblood, Fujiya And Miyagi, and Fear Of Men, Erland And The Carnival and Oddfellows Casino.
Recent albums include: engineering Fujiya And Miyagi, producing Tim Burness, Oddfellows Casino, video and audio mix for Rough Trade sessions with Girl Band, Prettiots, Benjamin Brooker, Jennylee.

His Bowlegs music sessions have been a regular feature on local TV channel Latest TV since it began, and a selection of the work was curated for the 2015 Together People Festival.
