Lisa studied Theatre at Dartington College of Arts with a placement at Utrecht’s Akademie Voor de Kunsten. Her theatre experience spans acting, directing and stage management in the UK and Europe. Lisa is Teaching & Learning Development Manager with a focus on Digital learning for Northbrook, as well as lecturing in Theatre Arts as part of the Creative Industries Department at Northbrook, in 2012 she was awarded an MA in Learning & Development 2012 from the University of Brighton, School of Education.

Lisa has worked with a range of theatre companies in the past including founder membership of Posh Frocks, associate directorship with in a …space, and has acted as mentor for the Prodigal theatre Scratch events during their time at the Nightingale Theatre, Brighton.
Having been in receipt of RSA funding from Northbrook, and CTL Fellowship funding from the University of Brighton, Lisa’s research interests have included the use of digital assessment products for actors, notions of social and cultural capital and their relationship to learning, teaching & assessment products in vocational theatre training, and exploring affect theory and vocal training for actors and teachers.
