L’Oreal Models on Northbrook Catwalk

’Oreal Professionel put on a live catwalk show to launch Northbrook’s new training academy in Shoreham.
Northbrook’s new Hair & Beauty Training Academy in Shoreham was presented to local businesses in style - with a little help from L’Oreal Professionel.
L’Oreal’s ID artists (talented stylists who travel the country doing shows and demos) were cutting and styling live models on stage before sending them down the catwalk. The show entitled ‘Rock ‘n’ Folk’ introduced L’Oreal’s autumn/winter colour collection.
The impressive show was attended by over 100 visitors from local salons. Students from other departments at Northbrook got involved, including Theatre students erecting the 25 foot catwalk and Hospitality students providing the catering. The models’ make up was done by Theatre Make Up students.
L’Oreal Professionel have supplied Northbrook College with hairdressing products for many years. Northbrook’s Emma Kite says, “We hope the show gave local salons a chance to see the training facilities on offer and that stronger bonds will be forged between L’Oreal, Northbrook and local employers.”
