An ex-Northbrook student has been featured in a new 10 part TV series on BBC2.
‘Show Me The Monet’ sees a panel of renowned art experts searching for great art from both amateurs and professionals for a prestigious exhibition.
Lucy Ambrose, who gained a BA in Fine Art at Northbrook, is one of the hopefuls who bring their artwork along to show the panel for feedback and a chance to get their work into the exhibition.
Lucy was one of only 150 short-listed from 1200 submissions to talk about their work in front of the panel of judges. Tuesday evening’s programme sees Lucy receiving a ‘yes’ from all three judges and gaining a place in the exhibition at the Royal College of Art.
Lucy came to Northbrook as a mature student seeking a career change, having previously worked for 20 years as an intra-ocular lens technician.
