Moving Image degree students have been praised by The Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust after producing a recruitment film for the organisation.
The film was made to promote living in Sussex and working for the Trust. Students created the film as part of their professional practice work, which focuses on working for an industry client and creating moving image content for them.
Dan Charlton, Director of Communication at The Sussex Partnership NHS Trust was very pleased with the finished product saying, “I was impressed with how the FdA Creative Media students grasped the brief we gave them to produce an engaging, people focused film about working at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. We asked them to showcase the local area as a place to come and live and work. Within five weeks the students researched, scripted, filmed (at a time of year when the weather was very poor) and edited a four minute film which we will now use in staff recruitment campaigns. They did a very good, professional job.”
Creative Industries course leader, Kate Mapes has used her industry knowledge and contacts to secure similar assignments for her students with Latest TV, The Orchid Charity, BMusic and HeroMedia.
