Biography

I’ve a desultory interest in most things and a more or less focused interest in a broad range of art and cultural practices, including photography, music, writing, film/video, and conceptual art

Within this broad gamut some specific research interests include:

•        photography and the everyday

•        photographic technologies and their relation to visuality

•        theories and practices of art and photography education

My creative practice encompasses making photographs, books, drawing, writing, film/video and music. Over the years some of these activities have been realised as exhibited, published and performed outcomes. I am also an active researcher and writer on photography and art education.
