Towards Independence

Courses for Learners with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities (LLDD)

The Towards Independence programme is designed to provide access to education for adults with learning difficulties.

All courses are part time and provision can be made for learners with a variety of learning needs. We offer a variety of 2, 2½, 3, 5½ and 12 hour sessions, Monday to Friday at the Broadwater site, also at a number of offsite locations.

Please note prospective learners are invited to apply for 1 of the following sessions per academic year.

All courses are accredited with ASDAN qualifications in Personal Progress and underpinned with numeracy and literacy.
