Due to successful promotion of ICT Apprenticeships and an increased interest from employers in this area, we wish to appoint Assessors to provide observations and one-one assessments for Apprentices enrolled on ICT Apprenticeship Frameworks.
The role will require you to perform one-one tutorials, workplace observations and provide developmental feedback to students in their workplace, therefore you will need to be flexible and have your own car for work duties (mileage allowance will be paid). You will also be involved in inductions, skills analysis and progress reviews.
We are looking for people who could assess in the workplace in such areas as software development, programming, and web design as well as the normal ICT industry. You will also need a sound understanding of new digital technologies used within the communications field (e.g mobile apps, social media).
The role could also involve talking to employers and explaining the ICT Apprenticeships available while discussing their business needs in this area. It will be necessary to attend standardisation meetings on a half termly basis, while being a good team player.
It is desirable that you hold the relevant A1 Award (TAQA) (or are willing to undertaking this qualification). It is essential that you have a relevant ICT qualification at minimum Level 4 or equivalent relevant industry experience.
