FURTHER INFORMATION
To start on this Level 3 course, you must have successfully completed the Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy. You will be expected to present yourselves in a professional manner and be polite and courteous. You will attend college wearing a uniform, with your hair up, nails cut short, and free from varnish, and strictly no jewellery or facial jewellery is allowed. You will be expected to be punctual and attend all classes. These are all requirements of the awarding body.
Whilst the primary purpose of this course is to prepare learners for employment, you may choose to develop your knowledge and skills further by completing a specialist qualification at Level 2 or 3 in beauty therapy, holistic therapies, sports therapy or make-up.
These qualifications allow you to become a member of the British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (BABTAC) or the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT). There are employment opportunities in:

- Independent/self-employed / mobile / home-based settings
You will be assessed throughout your course via practical activity observations, academic coursework and industry placements. Assessments are based around ‘real-life’ projects and industry or workplace scenarios including work experience. Your final grade will be awarded as pass, merit or distinction.

Application Review Meeting
Before offering you a place at college, we’ll meet with you (either in person, by telephone or online). We’ll send you a link to our booking page where you can select a time that’s convenient for you.
Accept Your Place
Offers will be sent to you via the email address you have provided. The offer will be conditional, based on predicted GCSE grades. You’ll need to accept your offer within 14 days to secure your place.
