COURSE OVERVIEW
If you want to become a qualified MOT tester, you will need to successfully complete this qualification which was developed with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). This course is a combination of theory and practical, the final sign off would be completed by a current DVSA assessor.

Entry requirements:
- Must be over 21
- Hold a valid clean driving licence for the class of vehicle you wish to test
- A minimum of four years experience within the trade, confirmed by a current or ex-employer
- A Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Motor Vehicle studies or completion of the DVSA skills assessment
- A current DBS basic check (three months minimum remaining on certificate)

Please note that there is no fee remission for this course.
Successful completion of the course will lead to your final part of the MOT qualification. This is an onsite assessment by a DVSA inspector of you carrying out a full MOT test.

You will be required to supply sufficient writing material for your theory sessions, and bring safety boots for the practical elements.
Parking around the site is free, however if there are no vacant parking places then you must use the pay and display car park.
