Massage for Anxiety, Stress and Tension
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course will cover many aspects of massage to support our everyday stresses and strains. You will learn a relaxing chair massage, a back massage using soothing essential oils lying on the couch, a face and hand massage. These will be incorporated with simple breathwork exercises and meditative techniques to help release anxiety.
This course is open to beginners who have an interest in Complementary Therapies. Come with a partner of friend or be prepared to partner with another student.

Any adult is eligible to join this course
What will you be able to do by the end of the course? By the end of the course, you will be able to offer a simple relaxing back massage both in a chair and on the massage couch. You will be able to practice simple breathing techniques. You will be able to choose oils to help with stress and anxiety. You will be able to apply some self-massage techniques.
There is no formal assessment for our adult leisure courses, your work will be reviewed during each class by the tutor.

HOW THE APPLICATION PROCESS WORKS

You’ll be prompted to create an account which will allow you to log in to our Application Tracker website whenever you wish. This will provide you with important information and you can also track the progress of your application.

Apply
Complete each step of the application form and then submit your completed form. We’ll let you know when we’ve safely received it with an acknowledgement email.
Step 3
Application Review Meeting
Before offering you a place at college, we’ll meet with you (either in person, by telephone or online). We’ll send you a link to our booking page where you can select a time that’s convenient for you.
Step 4
Accept Your Place
Offers will be sent to you via the email address you have provided. The offer will be conditional, based on predicted GCSE grades. You’ll need to accept your offer within 14 days to secure your place.
Step 5
What next?
Once you receive your GCSE results, you’ll need to get in touch with the college to inform us of them and start your enrolment process.
