COURSE OVERVIEW
A drawing and painting course exploring the use of inks and watercolours with a range of pens and variety of techniques. Suitable for all abilities.
Traditional and contemporary drawings, Indian ink, coloured inks and watercolour paints, tonal studies, the use of dip pens, mark-making and creative techniques from the world of fine art and illustration
By the end of the course you will recognise several artists working with the relevant drawing and painting media, produce at least four pieces of finished artwork, assess your progress at introductory or intermediate level
This course will run on a Monday morning 0930-1145
Jason Powers: Teaching across the adult sector for over twenty years, covering a diverse range of creative interests (portraiture, life classes, drawing, painting, and mixed media) various learner skills and experiences, Jason shares his extensive knowledge and practice through a structured, relaxed and flexible approach to learning. Having studied at Chelsea, Falmouth and Chichester university, Jason continues to exhibit county wide and nationally, and often at the annual Discerning Eye exhibitions, London.
