This course is aimed at those who have a keen interest in learning the basics of Adobe Photoshop and editing photographic work. You will explore different tools and adjustments in Photoshop, to create a better understanding of how to subtly edit your photographs.
In this course, we will first start with the fundamentals of the software, including a guided tour through the user interface and various capabilities of different tools available in Photoshop. All techniques and tools taught in lessons are transferrable to all photographic work, allowing you to have as many tools as you like to enhance your skillset.
We will be exploring different tools and techniques such as looking at Raw file formats, spot healing tools to remove blemishes, selection tools, layers, adjustments, masking and more!
There will also be weekly homework tasks set for you to try and test each technique out of lessons to enhance your knowledge -; you will also be given to opportunity to share your edited photographs to the class.
By the end of the course, you will be able to use Photoshop to manipulate images, using a diverse range of techniques.
