Vegan Cookery | Beginners – 1 Saturday/Spring Term


Love tofu? Learn how versatile tofu is and how to prepare and cook it in many ways. We will bake, fry, add as an ingredient to cooked dishes as well as using it raw. Tofu will become your firm favourite! Demo’;s and tasting, as well as student participation.
In the second half of the workshop, we will prepare and cook a very tasty game-changing plant-based mince which can be used in bolognese, pies, chilli’;s, tortillas etc. We will cook together and make ours into a delicious family lasagne to take home. Lots of discussion and tips from your tutor who has been vegan for over a decade.
Tutor: Karen Davey. This workshop runs on as Saturday 1000-1600
