Foam Crafting Workshop

This hands-on workshop will introduce you to a range of techniques used in foam armour construction. Delivered by Dan Jenkins, course leader of BA hons Prop making and SFX, the focus will be on taking patterns from your own body and turning these into usable armour patterns, cutting and thermoforming foam accurately and adhesives to bring it all together. This workshop is for beginners but will be enjoyable for all skill levels.
Moulding & Casting Workshop

This hands-on workshop will explore the fascinating and extensive world of moulding and casting used in prop making. After a short demonstration by prop makers and Lecturers, you will get the opportunity to explore mould making Alginate and plaster to create a cast of your own hand that can be used as an armature for further sculpture or a decorative prop for anatomical or horror purposes.
