A celebration of talent: Northbrook College Creative Industries Summer exhibition inspires and impresses
The creative spirit of Northbrook College was on full display as the annual Creative Industries Summer exhibition drew to a close last week – a dazzling celebration of imagination, innovation, and talent.
From breathtaking visual art to striking fashion pieces, and powerful performances to thought-provoking installations, the exhibition showcased the incredible journey of our students, spanning level three through to university-level studies. It highlighted the depth and diversity of creative education available at the college.
It all began on Wednesday 4 June, when the Creative Industries Summer Show launched the exhibition in spectacular style. Family, friends, members of the public, and special guests gathered for an electrifying evening featuring a vibrant fashion show, live music, and an atmosphere charged with pride and creativity.
The evening culminated in a moving awards ceremony, honouring the remarkable achievements of students from both Further and Higher Education creative courses. Prizes were awarded to outstanding individuals whose work demonstrated excellence, originality, and impact:
Further Education
- First Place: Mia Korbal-Krentz
- First Runner-Up: Connor Enticott
- Second Runner-Up: Riley Ctajar
Higher Education
- First Place: Nathaniel Copper
- First Runner-Up: Mike Hoddy
- Second Runner-Up: Charlie Anderson
The evening was made even more special by the presence of Cllr Cathy Glynn-Davies, Mayor of Worthing, as well as Andrew Green, CEO of Chichester College Group, who were all there to witness and celebrate the extraordinary creativity of Northbrook College’s students.
Helena Thomas, Principal of Northbrook College and Worthing College, shared her pride, saying:
“This year’s Creative Industries Summer Show has been a truly inspiring celebration of our students’ imagination, skill, and dedication. From the vibrant fashion show to the powerful performances and stunning displays of work, it has showcased the incredible breadth of talent we have here at the college.
