COURSE OVERVIEW
Our popular fine dining restaurant, coffee shop, and industrial kitchens provide an ideal environment to learn the skills needed for a career in the catering and hospitality industry. At Level 2 you have the option to split the course over two years, studying food and beverage service in the first year and professional cookery in the second. At Level 3, you will specialise in either fine dining service or cookery, learning advanced skills and techniques.

FURTHER INFORMATION
To join this course, you must have successfully completed the Level 2 Diplomain Professional Cookery or have significant industry experience.GCSE English and maths are also required.
After Level 3, you may wish to continue your studies, start an apprenticeship or seek employment.

You will be assessed throughout your course via practical activity observations, academic coursework and industry placements. Assessments are based around ‘real-life’ projects and industry or workplace scenarios including work experience. Your final grade will be awarded as pass, merit or distinction.
Uniform and kit costs do apply to this course but can be fully funded from Bursary subject to application approval.

Set Up Your Account
You’ll be prompted to create an account which will allow you to log in to our Application Tracker website whenever you wish. This will provide you with important information and you can also track the progress of your application.
Apply
Complete each step of the application form and then submit your completed form. We’ll let you know when we’ve safely received it with an acknowledgement email.
Application Review Meeting
Before offering you a place at college, we’ll meet with you (either in person, by telephone or online). We’ll send you a link to our booking page where you can select a time that’s convenient for you.
Accept Your Place
Offers will be sent to you via the email address you have provided. The offer will be conditional, based on predicted GCSE grades. You’ll need to accept your offer within 14 days to secure your place.

Once you receive your GCSE results, you’ll need to get in touch with the college to inform us of them and start your enrolment process.
