This bespoke course further develops your understanding of powertrain engineering, mathematical methods, and modeling. In addition, individual and group projects will provide you with opportunities to undertake industry-relevant research.
COURSE OVERVIEW
Learn about the functions of the complex systems within today’s vehicles. You will find out how these systems integrate with each other to operate to the manufacturer’s specifications. You will learn through practical hand skills with some theory sessions. After Level 3, you will have the diagnosis skills needed to rectify problems and become a qualified technician.

You can join this course if you have successfully completed the Level 2 Diploma in Motor Vehicle Maintenance (City & Guilds Light Vehicle Maintenance& Repair Principles). 90% attendance record is required.

You will be assessed throughout your course via practical activity observations, academic coursework and industry placements.
