COURSE OVERVIEW
With access to our state of the art recording studios and rehearsal rooms, this highly practical course will teach you about the music industry and develop your musical skills. On both pathways, there are industry lessons and you are encouraged to market your work.
On the performance pathway, you will be in a band and/or playing solo: playing cover songs, or being involved in writing original songs. You will be researching techniques around your personal interests and will play at least four gigs in the year, plus will have the opportunity to make demo recordings of the songs you play.
On the production pathway, you will become an expert in using Logic Pro x to make music in any style of your choice. You will also learn about microphone techniques to add live recordings to your music.
