COURSE OVERVIEW
Whether you are interested in becoming a photographer, filmmaker, digital designer or digital content creator, this could be your first step towards becoming a creative digital producer. With projects across photography, moving image, advertising design and animation, you will discover your strengths and define your future path. Industry-based projects and work experience opportunities are part of each course curriculum, enabling you to further develop the skills to progress to a career in the future-focused digital industries with the energy and confidence to thrive.

Start at Level 2 if you have at least four GCSEs at grade 3 (D/E) or above, including English and/or maths.
After Level 2 you can progress to the Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Photography, Creative Media & Film and then on to further study or seek employment.

You will be assessed throughout your course via practical activity observations, academic coursework and industry placements. Assessments are based around ‘real-life’ projects and industry or workplace scenarios including work experience. Your final grade will be awarded as pass, merit or distinction.

Set Up Your Account
You’ll be prompted to create an account which will allow you to log in to our Application Tracker website whenever you wish. This will provide you with important information and you can also track the progress of your application.
Apply
Complete each step of the application form and then submit your completed form. We’ll let you know when we’ve safely received it with an acknowledgement email.
Application Review Meeting
Before offering you a place at college, we’ll meet with you (either in person, by telephone or online). We’ll send you a link to our booking page where you can select a time that’s convenient for you.
Accept Your Place
Offers will be sent to you via the email address you have provided. The offer will be conditional, based on predicted GCSE grades. You’ll need to accept your offer within 14 days to secure your place.

Once you receive your GCSE results, you’ll need to get in touch with the college to inform us of them and start your enrolment process.
