Driving Innovation: Automotive Experts Bring Insights to Northbrook College  

For the first time in 10 years, Northbrook College’s Shoreham Airport Campus had the honour of hosting the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) Members’ Event.  

Led by guest speaker Steve Fox, who works for motor vehicle supplier Forvia Hella, the session offered an insightful look into all aspects of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).  

The talk covered a wide range of topics including current legislation and sensor operation, as well as looking at future developments and emerging approaches to MOT tests and headlamp testing.  

This allowed those in attendance to learn about the rapidly evolving automotive industry as they gained valuable insights into the future of vehicle safety and diagnostics.  

It also enabled them to hear directly from an industry expert, allowing those who attended to connect classroom learning to future career opportunities and real-world developments.
