Students shine at Northbrook College’s vibrant Creative Industries Summer Show

30 June 2026

A wave of creativity swept through Northbrook College as students unveiled their work at the annual Creative Industries Summer Show.

Held at the college’s West Durrington campus, the exhibition showcased a range of student work from across the college’s Creative Industries courses, with each piece highlighting the imagination and talent of each student.

This included a range of student work, from fascinating fashion pieces and thought-provoking fine art to inventive prop making and captivating photography.

Held between Friday 5 June and Friday 12 June, the showcase invited family, friends and loved ones, alongside members of the public, to view the variety of student work.

This followed on from the college’s End of Year Summer Showcase prize giving, which saw a range of prizes awarded to both runners-up and winners across the creative industries.

One standout award went to Katie Cos, who received an award after her design was chosen for the official poster for the Creative Industries Summer show.

Helena Thomas, Principal of Northbrook College, said:
“Our Creative Industries Summer Show is one of the highlights of the academic year, and this year’s exhibition was a fantastic reflection of the creativity, dedication and passion our students bring to their work.

“From fashion and fine art to photography and prop design, the breadth of talent on display was truly inspiring. It was a pleasure to welcome family, friends and members of the local community to celebrate their achievements and see first-hand the high standard of work being produced at Northbrook College.”
