Whether you’re completely new to ceramics or already have some experience, this workshop is a great opportunity to develop your skills. Returning participants are also welcome to continue working on their own projects with guidance and support.

Suitable for all abilities. Student must be aged 19+
- Develop confidence and creativity when working with clay.
- Learn the fundamentals of ceramic processes and techniques.
- Explore wheel throwing techniques.
- Create projects using hand-building methods.
- Learn coiling and slab-building techniques.
- Gain an introduction to slip casting.
- Experiment with sculpting in clay.
- Understand the use of glazes and oxides.
- Build skills to continue developing your own ceramic practice.
Enrol on a further 10 week Pottery for Handbuliding course.

Discuss any additional costs with your tutor at your first lesson. Firing times for ceramic work may vary during busy periods, but tutors will aim to return work promptly.
