Why this course?
Join our Sewing Summer School and develop your sewing skills in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you’re completely new to sewing and keen to make your first garment, or you’re already working on a project and would like expert guidance to help you complete it, this course is for you. Come along, learn new techniques, build your confidence, and enjoy the satisfaction of creating something unique. Class times: 12:00-16:30

This course is suitable for all levels. All students must be aged 19+
- Using a sewing machine safely and correctly
- How to choose suitable fabrics for your sewing project
- Pattern terminology and instructions
- Pattern cutting using your chosen pattern
- Assembling your chosen garment
- Zips, buttonholes and pockets as required
- Developing a basic knowledge of different fabrics and their qualities
- Understanding seams and hems for a professional finish
