COURSE OVERVIEW
This course will prepare you for roles in engineering, design, production, testing, and management in the exciting world of motorsport. You will gain practical skills with a range of vehicle systems as well as theoretical knowledge, including scientific and mathematical principles and electronics.
You will learn how to remove and replace vehicle components and gain an understanding of vehicle maths and science. The course includes attending professional race meetings and in addition to investigating current technologies, you will become familiar with the industry structure and motorsport event regulations.
Our Shoreham Airport Campus offers a truly unique learning experience; Motorsport, Aero, and Motor Vehicle students work in hangars, workshops and high-tech classrooms equipped with the very latest tools, machinery and software.
FURTHER INFORMATION
To join this course you must have successfully completed Level 2 Motorsport with an 80% attendance record and a pass with merit. English and maths GCSEs are also required.
Completion of this course will earn you 48 UCAS points.
You can progress to the Northbrook Foundation Degree in Motorsport Engineering and other university-level courses.

You will be assessed throughout your course via practical activity observations, academic coursework and industry placements. Assessments are based around ‘real-life’ projects and industry or workplace scenarios including work experience. Your final grade will be awarded as pass or fail.

Application Review Meeting
Before offering you a place at college, we’ll meet with you (either in person, by telephone or online). We’ll send you a link to our booking page where you can select a time that’s convenient for you.
Accept Your Place
Offers will be sent to you via the email address you have provided. The offer will be conditional, based on predicted GCSE grades. You’ll need to accept your offer within 14 days to secure your place.
