Why this course?
Learn the art of stained glass using both leaded light and Tiffany copper foil techniques. Design unique projects, safely cut glass, and master leading, soldering, cementing and patination. Create decorative pieces and gifts for the home and garden while developing the skills and confidence to progress to your own stained glass projects. Course times: 18:30-21:00

Students must be aged 19+ This course is suitable for all abilities
- Design and plan a leaded or copper foil stained glass project from concept to completion.
- Safely use the tools, materials and techniques required for leaded and copper foil work.
- Cut, shape and assemble glass accurately to create decorative stained glass pieces.
- Construct and finish beautiful leaded and copper foil panels using professional methods.
- Apply and further develop your design, making and problem-solving skills with confidence.
You can enrol on a further term of stained glass to improve your skills or consider one of our other art and craft courses.
Continuous classroom assessment.
Try the tools provided in the first class before buying your own. As the course progresses, you may wish to purchase an oil-filled steel wheel cutter and other tools. Bring pens, pencils, paper, a permanent marker, scissors, old clothes, and closed-toe shoes. Materials for sample pieces are included; larger projects may incur extra costs.
