Skills for the Future: Northbrook College Celebrates T Levels Week

It is now officially T Levels Week 2026! And to mark it, we wanted to look at all the reasons to pick this career-focused qualification and why you should study one here at Northbrook College.

With T Levels set to become the single largest technical qualification at Level 3, this year’s national T Levels Week, 19-23 October, marks yet another fantastic opportunity to show just why they offer such a fantastic opportunity for young people.

Since becoming one of the first providers in the country to deliver T Levels in September 2020, the Chichester College Group has continually expanded its offer and now offers a range of courses across the different colleges in the group.

Why pick a T Level?

T Levels are a two-year technical qualification, designed in collaboration with employers to give you the skills needed by industry. This is achieved by combining classroom study, practical learning and a three-month placement.

Whether you already have a career in mind or are still exploring your options, a T Level can help open doors to your future. It offers a clear pathway to university, an apprenticeship or employment, giving you plenty of opportunities after college.

Reflecting on the growing impact of T Levels, Jacqui Smith, Minister for Skills, said:

“This government is determined to give technical and vocational education the same status and recognition as the academic route. T Levels are showing what is possible when high-quality education is combined with meaningful industry experience, enabling more young people to gain the skills, knowledge and experience needed to thrive.”
